An incise film is also known as an incise drape, which is used during a surgical procedure to provide sterile protection to the skin surrounding a surgical incision and to maintain a surgical glue’s sterile environment during operations. The incise drape is a transparent, adhesive polyurethane film which allows the skin to breathe, so preventing moisture build-up under the drape. The drape adheres throughout long surgical operations to the surrounding skin and most importantly to the wound edge.
